Do Women Earn Less Than Men?

In this video, there is an attempt to debunk the myth that men make more than women. There is a kernel of truth, for every dollar being made by a man, a woman makes.75. However, it's not that there is Labor Market Discrimination, but that women are choosing occupations and majors that generally make less than men (humanities, social studies versus economics and business) Also, women are more likely to work part time than men.

It's interesting to see how the economy right now is doing as a whole in comparison to the majors that people are choosing. I wonder right now if more men are employed than women are, if so, is the difference still just .25 cents?
