Top 6 PS3 Games To-Buy

So I scoured the internets, asked Reddit, and did an internal poll to see which PS3 games were actually worth playing/buying/downloading. Here is my top 6 list, and a collection of other super good to-buys:

COD Black Ops (not on the top because I am not a pubescent teenager), Heavenly Sword (for it's PS3-exclusive cinematics), Uncharted 1+2, Mass Effect 2, Batman: Arkam Asylum.

6. Heavy Rain

My goodness this game was awesome. Scary, but awesome. The game revolves are solving the mystery as to who is the "origami killer" -- a killer that drowns his victims in rain water. Every decision you make has an effect on one if not all of the characters. You'll need 20 hours of your time and 40 if you're OCD like me and want to see all the different endings.

5. God of War 3

If I didn't put this on top 5, I would have raged. This game's epic-ness, the bosses, the level design, the characters, the weapons...godly!

All I can say, is the game starts with you fighting while standing on a Titan, while she climbs Mount Olympus.

4.Portal 2

The cake is a lie! Everything about this game is gorgeous,the gameplay is amazing and it can only be described as the perfect sequel to Portal 1.

And when you play, don't you think that your sidekick Wheatley sounds a bit like Simon Pegg?

3. L.A Noire

Grand Theft Auto + Heavy Rain = L.A.Noire

Basically this game is a mystery film set in the 1940s, and you're the main character. You run around trying to solve the case, and don't forget to bring your noggin, 'cause these puzzles are hard.

This game gets so detailed that you have to look at their faces to tell if they're lying or not. 10 years ago, I was happy that in Pokemon Blue I could distinguish Ash's pixely face from his pixely bike.

James- this is where you get your transmedia fix. They came out with a book, a huge out of home and mobile ad buy, and the game is fantastic!

2. Little Big Planet 1 + 2

Everything about this friggin' game is SO cute. You can hold hands, dress up, slap each other all while flying on jet packs, shotting paint guns and playing on customizable levels. I'll let the cuteness do the talking on these games.

1. Metal Gear Solid 4

Everyone just raves and raves and raves about this game. And I really think it is the #1 must buy game. It's PS3 exclusive, it comes new now for $20. I just started playing myself, and it's pretty fantastic. However, i'm not the best at stealthing, and when I played the previous MGS I wasn't too much of a fan of needing a key card to climb ladders. This game won Game of the Year and Gamespot said it was "technically flawless" -- pretty rave reviews all around.
